Availability

Bunratty Lodge offers six (6) guest rooms at ground floor level, all of which have their own toilet, shower, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. All rooms have orthopaedic beds, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, curling irons, colour TV, CNN and FREE WI-FI. Queen size and double rooms are available as well as twins and family rooms.

A large lounge area is available to guests, where they can relax and recollect the days events or just catch up on that novel. Follow the Brochure link for interior pictures of Bunratty Lodge.

Bunratty Lodge is a strictly non-smoking home.

Mary Browne, winner of the Galtee Irish Breakfast Regional Award and Michele Erdvig Emerald Awards, including Irish Classic 2004, and Host of the Year 2005.

Sample Breakfast Menu

Juice: Orange, Apple, Cranberry

Cereals: Muesli, cornflakes, rice crispies, branflakes, raisin bran, all-bran, weetabix, porridge (oatmeal) with choice of toppings.

Main Plates:

Bacon, eggs (scrambled or fried), sausage, tomato and potato.

Scrambled eggs on toast with bacon/sausage/potato/beans.

French toast served with fruit, powdered sugar and maple syrup.

Pancakes served with fruit and maple syrup/honey.

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

Fruit and yoghurt.

Tea (herbal or regular) Percolated coffee Homemade breads and preserves.

 

                       

 

Some of the famous individuals who have stayed:

Maureen O'Hara pictured with Mary & Liam Browne at the European Premier of Only the Lonely. Maureen O'Hara has stayed numerous times at Bunratty Lodge with her family.

Dorian Harewood whose family stayed in 1997, while he was filming in the U.S.
